Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Kaczyce
Attractions
The historic wooden parish church was built before 1620 in the village of Ruptawa (now part of the city of Jastrzębie-Zdrój), on the site of an even older structure. Between 1971 and 1972, the church was dismantled and reconstructed with slight modifications in Kaczyce. It was consecrated again after the relocation on June 25, 1972. In 1973, a bell weighing 350 kilograms, cast in a foundry in Ostrava, was placed in the church tower.
